Mark...C'mon man...How a bout a video of the Silver City blazing down the alley??!!! I knew that she must have made a run...I felt a disturbance in the Force!!

I'm GREEN with envy and sure wish that I could make the "ace of Gentlemen"...It's going to be SWEET!! Maybe if Jay and I head that way now in his speedster and the "Dust Bowl", we can make it in time for next years run!!!!

    Congrats, Bro!!!!!

no vid to post yet, Kev took some but we're still thrashing on his car.

it's running, but it's not real happy. likes to backfire. i think it needs valves. it'll run long enough and well enough to make some passes, though. so we're hitting the road tomorrow about 11am.

it's been discussed. i wouldn't rule it out. but i'll leave it up to moose and slick willy since they are driving their hot rods. kind of a long haul to turn around tomorrow. but we'll see.

Does it idle ok and seem to run fine until you load it up?? If so, you may just have a bad condenser...cheap and easy fix. Or...make sure that you're getting good enough fuel flow. I had the same issues with mine lately and my little, chinese plastic, fuel filter wasn't allowing enough flow. It would sit there and idle but after about 10 seconds on the street, would start to pop and backfire. What about the timing??? Is it dialed in decent?

Just a couple of thoughts based off of crap I've seen with my bangers before. Seems to me that it's usually that kind of simple crap vs. the more major things most of the time with them.
