This is the perimeter tubing done. I had to use exhaust mandrel on the tightest bend. IMG_1361.JPG

Is this the ground scraping silver Ford at BTT50's. The one that had no visable gauges or seams and looked like a low large pedal car?

The grill area is blocked off and I have front body mounts near there. A majority of the wok on this car is where it will never be seen. IMG_1554.JPG

  11. Wow.........I mean wow......lots of work....and probably the only one like it you will ever see. It reminds me of something from a Pixar movie or something from a 50's Sci fi flick. Very interesting

My buddy, Beau helped me make this 10 inch wheel with his Harbor Freight tubing roller. IMG_1795.JPG

I narrowed the rear bumper a couple inches so it would fit tight up against the body. Then I made holes for the exhaust. IMG_1836.JPG

Awesome build, and the finished car really drew a crowd at BTT50's! It was so smooth everyone thought it was a fiberglass replica.

I took a '51 grill and built some pieces to mold it to the body. This part of the car started as an enormous rust hole. IMG_2002.JPG

This is mt intermediate steering shaft. I built it from scratch with some very primitive machining techniques. It is nearly 3 feet long and sits in the car totally horizontal. IMG_2140.JPG

Sorry, I take back what I said earlier, obviously you've had a vision all along. Talk about thinkin' outa the box. Incredible desire to take on such a task.

This is part of my steering, there are 3 sets of u-joints. It works surprisingly well. No slop. IMG_2192.JPG

I recessed my licence plate into the trunk lid. It is also the latch for my trunk. IMG_2198.JPG
