Working on a 65 Rivi. Trying to get the switch pitch working. I was missing micro-switch, brackets, and kick-down plunger. Got all of those parts on the car, and now I am realizing that where the throttle linkage meets the plate that the switch pitch micro-switch bolts to, I need the correct GM bushings, or the switch will not correctly align with the linkage.

Does anyone out there have a source for these bushings?

I hope that makes sense. Here is a pic of where I am talking about:

I had a skylark years ago with a switch pitch 300, so I kind of know what you're talking about...but I sure don't know where to get the parts. Seems to me you could figure out what they need to be like, and make them from spacers/washers, or have them made by a buddy with a lathe.

I have a lathe....if you do figure it out, send me a sketch?

I know of no source for them, or the original switches.

Go to the Riviera Owners of America club/web site, I imagine this can be taken care of.

Or look up Russ Martin at Centerville Auto Repair, he may have wha you need.

    Good luck!
