buick drum question

    deos any one know what the year span was for 12 inch aluminum buick drums?
     
  2. We've sort of run through this but I know they had 'em as early as '58 or 9 and if you don't have to have 45 fins they were still useing the 90 fin as late as '68 or 9. So I'm going to guess 10 years?

    They also ran some big steel ones in that time span so don't just go by the year.

    1957 had aluminum drums. 45 fin not quite sure on the 90 fin maybe right up to the time the big cars went to disc.cast iron drums were aftermarket replacment

    Yeah, I think the 90 finners ended in '68, most of them had discs in '69...
