Not another Buick Drum question, did you search you good for nothin'?!?!?

Yeah, I've searched. The question is what is a decent price for a good set of Alum Buick drums? I am trying to keep an eye out for some and want to know if I am getting screwed or a good deal.

    Thanks,
    Chad

That's cheap, especially if it was the 45 fin ones...

I just need one to replace one of mine thats out of spec, and i've been seeing crazy prices on ebay.

the prices on evilpay are what scare me. There's a swap meet coming up in October, but hardly ever see a set at the swap. Is $200 about going rate for a set of useable 45 finners?

  7. DAMN!!!!!!! I payed 25 bucks for my PAIR of standard diameter drums!!!! Then I swapped a guy a pair of decent '40 drums (free in the trunk of a car I bought) for his wasted '46's to get the hubs.

I picked up a set of .40 over 401 pistons at a machine shop out of business sale and then traded them to a guy who bought a buick for the mill and needed the pistons. He was going to scrap the rest so, I said I'll take the drums. I was out a total of $35 bucks and the drums are perfect 45 finners HA!

I paid $200.00 a year ago for a nice looking pair with the hubs removed.

  10. I bought 5, sold 3, & ended up with $10 in my pair of 45 fins.

how much do they go for already converted? I've done at least 6 sets over the years, including rears.
