I have a set of front Buick brake shoes I would like to fit them into a Lincoln rear backing plates. I know that the Lincoln brake shoes are narrower than the Buick. Is there any problem for me to use the Buick brake shoes as mentioned or shoud I use the Lincoln. I will be using the Buick drums for this application. I like the idea of having these Buick brake shoes because they are wider.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure you should use the lincoln since they're made for the lincoln backing plates... you'll have to machine the buick drums for the backing plates to work right.
