I have installed 1960 Buick drum brakes on my 32 Ford project. The installation has gone well, I am however struggling a bit with what front brake hose to use.
-The thread size for the front wheel cylinders is 7/16-20. How did the original hose fitting seal to the wheel cylinder, a copper washer?
-The opposite hose end will require a 3AN female swivel, any suggestions on a source for this. I suspect it will have to be custom made.
    Thanks

I asked this same question of Mr. Wislon of Wilson Welding & Machine, and he said use copper washers, and it has worked very well for me for several years. No leaks or seeps.
As for the other end, I used a 45* inverted flare, as that's what fit the other end of the rubber hoses I used.

Seems to be a lot of guys putting Buick drums on lately. I`m liking it.
