Buick 455 questions

    Search didn't come up with much so here it is....
    I've got a line on a good running buick 455/tubo400 combo. Whos a good source for performance parts for these motors. If you run/ran one, what worked good for you. Do's and don'ts with these motors. I'm planning on putting it in a "Gasser/drag" inspired pick-up. The motor and trans are 1970. I believe stock 320ish Hp, and 512lbs of torque. Sounded like a good start to me. I have'nt bought it yet. Kinda curious what I'd be getting my self into first. Thanks in advance, Graham

    They are great engines. Extremely light weight...they weigh as much as a SBC. Super torkey. Check out T/A Performance, they along with Poston are the two major parts sources.

    I love me a Buick!
