I discovered 'those' spider webs in and around my car today out in the garage. black widows... anyway i've been doing bodywork. sanding, blocking down to 220 right now.. I have some filler showing in spots. I was wondering if i can get away with throwing a spider bomb in the garage without any ill affects to the exposed filler. figured wipe the car down real good and maybe if I take the exposed filler down a little soon after the bomb fumes go away so it doesn't soak up any "bomb spray whatever" i might be alright.. am i being too crazy about solvents or residue in my filler. any thoughts? thanks
I don't think it will do anything but kill the spiders. But be on the safe side before you apply paint and give it a once over with the sanding and clean it good before spraying. I set them off in my shop monthly...I'm arachnophobic!
a good degreaser from an auto body shop should work just fine in case any residue gets in there. I get them critters a lot where i'm at and have to do it a lot. I might as well have a cabinet of bombs...
