History Bud Bryans Hot Rod Pictorial?

Hotrod Willie has a post about Bud Bryans roadster and I was going through my Veda Orr's Hot Rod Pictorial to get some ideas for my T when I glanced up at the corner of the first page. Is this Bud's copy? I got it along time ago and this stamp looks legit.

Is he still around? Would love to know if it was his and why he got rid of it.
