OK here it is ,an old buddy and I are planning a very long road trip,It will start in NC to lars via the lower states,leaving LA up 66 and acrose to Dearborn ,and back to NC for the heavy rebale weekend on the 4th july. Well the question is sb ford and 4 spead Or flathead and 3 spead .the car is a 32 5window, droped I beam, split bones, 40 ford brake find drums ,QC rear, fullfenders,no hood, the question for u pureist is I have built a lot of flatheads,but have not ran one this hard and long before.the other question is how do you make a sb ford look good under the hood of a 50s hotrod..
Put a hood on it...and make sure it's closed. You can't make it look good, if you want a "50's" build, and put in a 1964 and up period engine...
