The car had Minnesota plates and I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, so I don't know if it's always been in Minnesota or not. Here's a few more pics.

Topdeadcenter, Kenosha it would be. Home of the Rambler, the trolley that goes nowhere, and the last man legally hung in WI.

 

it's a minnesota car. it was built by a guy i know,who is a retired machinist. he has been working on it for many years and just got it on the road.. i saw the motor 10-15 years ago in his shop...it's a model B with a `28 chevy head.(overhead valve)..i guess that was the hot set up many years ago

it has a lot of home built parts,including an open drive conversion on the rear end

 

Thanks for the info. I couldn't quite place the motor setup. When you see him, pass along my compliments, the car was nicely done.
