I got word from Bruce’s daughter Beth that Bruce has suffered a stroke and is in ICU. I put a call out to his son but haven’t heard back yet. I have no other details. Many of you probably know him better than I do. If you have any contact info for him or his family now would probably be a good time to lend your support. Andy Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Oh boy, he was a wealth of knowledge. Especially when it comes to Deuce information. I hope he recovers fully. ... Mark
Sorry to hear this. If you're the praying type, or even if you're not, send a few words up to the guy upstairs.
Truly hate to hear this bad news. Bruce is such a tremendous source of Early Ford information. Hoping and praying for a complete and speedy recovery.
I hate to read this. He seemed to be a helluva nice guy, too, always willing to help. Get well, Bruce.
@Bruce Lancaster I hope you read this and take heart from all the good wishes, thoughts and prayers of your HAMB buddies. May the good Lord bless and keep you, make his radiance to shine upon you and give you peace. BB
Yeah, so sorry to hear this. I'm also praying for your healing, and recovery too. If there's anything we can do please let us know. Hope to see you back soon. { GET WELL } from the HAMB, and God bless you.
I just had a stroke last Friday. Wife called 911 and the squad got me to ER in good time. I came thru it with so far no permanent problems. Hopefully Bruce has the same kind of luck.
Bruce has always been the man to turn to when you want the factual information, his wealth of knowledge pertaining to early Fords seems to be immeasurable. Bruce is a man I have immense respect and he has been selfless when it comes to educating us all. I wish Bruce the best in his recover and pray the stroke will not prevent him from sharing his time with all his friends here on the Hamb, you my friend are in my thoughts and prayers. HRP
A stroke can be mild or devastating, my pal Rene' suffered a crippling stroke a few years ago, it effected his kidneys, he is now on dialysis and he is no longer able to walk but as far as his memory he remembers everything up to that day. I surely hope Bruce has a full recovery. HRP
