I am truly sorry to hear of this tragedy that has struck your family. Your step-son and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers this weekend. My immediate family has had to endure a couple tragedies very similar to yours so I know exactly what you guys are going through and it is going to be a hard road back for everyone - but it WILL make you stronger for having endured it. Hello all my fellow H.A.M.B.E.R.S family. Up dated on Robert today. The swelling on his right side of his right side of his face has gone down and on his nose, still swollen on the left side of his face, this is due to his fractured eye sockets, and his eyes are both still swollen shut. They think he will have some vision problems, Teresa and I asked if he could hear us to squeeze our hands..He did for both of us every so little but he did!!!!They still have him in a induced comma due to all the things that happen to his body. They tried to wake him up today but he was he was trying to sit up and moving all over the bed too fast so they had to put him back into the coma. The Drs. are still consered about the big gash in the front of his head, but time will tell. Looks like will be down here in Flordia for a while. Teresa and I are just so over welmed by all your get well and prayers we just don't know what to say but THANK YOU ALL Bruce Teresa.

That speaks so highly of Robert, it just breaks my heart that someone who puts their life at risk to help strangers ends up hurt like this.

He's a trooper man! He squeezed your hands, just a little but still that's good. His brain function is fine. Just needs to heal up. Still thinking of you guys.

Bruce and Teresa, if prayers can be thought of as shooting stars, then realize what the Saints of Heaven are experiencing....Prayers for Robert are on display....a fireworks show of incredible proportions. We are taught that when two or more gather together, those petitions are heard in Heaven, let’s pray that Robert’s health and well being is fully restored.
