He's done a great service to the Hot Rod community, and will live on forever through the werk he's done, and the many parts on many of our rides (mine for one)

    thank you, Godspeed

We are set up this Saturday to fit a roadster body to my chassis. I`ve always dealt with Chuck but Ray was always pleasant whenever around. Great bunch of guys and I hope they drag out some of Rays cars for the open house. He has quite a collection hidden back. Godspeed Ray.

I have been buying parts (and later bodies) from Ray for over 30 years. when I first met him he had a small shop in Brookville that was so jammed with machinery and tools the workers were rubbing their asses together because of the lack of room. Kenny wasn't even out of high school. I remember him telling me he wanted Kenny to go to college so there would be and educated man to run the business some day. Someday is today.:(. RIP Ray, I'll miss seeing you when I stop by.

Just curious but does anyone have pics of Ray's cars?

I think that would be a nice way to honor his memory.

Sorry to hear about the loss.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I had heard he was sick but I was hoping he'd pull through and I'd see him on the summer circuit as usual.

I first met Ray in the mid 70's at his shop.It was a small block building and as you say was stuffed full of machines.I was lucky to have wired a couple cars for Ray several years ago.The neatest was a roadster pickup they built for the National Park Service to use.The last time i heard it was at Yosemite.

May he rest in peace. Definitely left his mark on the entire industry, and rodding community as well as the restorers. Will be missed.

Sad news indeed. I was on a cross country trip to L.A. roadster show in my 32 in 2007. Got sick along the way, but made it out there. Ended up flying home. They put my car in the Brookville rig and hauled it back to Ohio for me for NEXT TO NOTHING! Thanks for all you did Ray and Kenny too! R.I.P.

I bought a 27 Roadster body at the L.A. Roadster show, had flown out there, didn't know how I was going to get it back to Indy, they were nice enough to haul it back to Brookville for me for almost nothing, great people he will be missed

I am also really sad after hearing this. I have dealt with Brookville on quite a few occasions throughout the years(usually with Kenny), & their customer service has always been absolutely amazing.

They have done a ton for our hobby for sure, and I wish the best for the friends, family, & employees in this difficult time.

The dedication to the craft ofrestration or hot rodding the efforts Ray and the whole team at Brookville is hard to match. There parts saved alot of cars from the scrap pile and provide us with a lot of great platforms to create our next dream ride.
Thanks Ray for all that you have done you will be missed.

Attended the open house today. About 300 cars showed up.They had one building set up as a memorial to Ray with a lot of his cars displayed.
    Nice turnout.
