I really enjoyed my visit to Brian’s shop in Dallas.
Meeting Brian and talking with him while he was taping numbers on the red 32 roadster was time well spent.
    He’s a great guy.

  12. I kinda wondered what Aaron Kaufman was doing after being an Ass Monkey.
Looks like he's doing video shop tours.
Good to see he's still in the industry.
I would love to have a couple hours in Mr. Bass' shop to look around.
It's dripping with old school cool.

Brian is truly a down to earth guy! Always try and stop in to take him out to lunch when I'm in TX, always enjoy talking cars with him!

Fantastic. Hopefully it's just a matter of time before his reputation proportionally rewards him financially. Surprised to hear him say "hotrod building doesn't always pay the bills" or something like that. What a great talent! Thanks Todd.

The '34 Coupe that he helped Gas Monkey Garage build is on the cover of the latest issue of Hot Rod Magazine (March 2018)

Knuckle or Panhead Inner Primary, Outer Primary Cover, Tranny Base Plate hanging on the wall..... hmmmmm, must be into bikes too.

  21. That is correct, Aaron owns "Arclight Fab" (an O/T truck fabrication company) ... and is returning to television with his own program.

    That is correct:

    HOT ROD - March 2018.jpg

... as well as the latest issue of The Rodder's Journal:

    TRJ #77 - newstand cover.jpg

That all stated, I'd prefer to keep this thread focused on the Brian Bass video interview(s) ... I'd really hate for this thread to be closed because certain folks like to "discuss" reality television programs instead of Traditional Hot Rods & Customs.

My visit to Brian’s shop was in 2015 , the year I hauled my RPU to Rod Tops in Michigan to have the top made.
The day I showed up Brian was on the driver side of the roadster taping out the numbers that are on it now.
As I said earlier it was a fun visit and before I left I bought a couple of Bass Kustom T shirts.

The first time I met Brian, he was driving the primer red Ford, a 49 or 50. It was a swapmeet in a field in Texas, I asked if he was on the HAMB and he had never heard of the HAMB
