Took a break from weekend morning wrenchin' to check out a lil' cruise-in at a local car lot in McKinleyville. NSRA had a safety checkpoint day that made for a nice midday gathering with locals. I've seen this Buick roadster around alot. I wish my gf hadn't taken the GOOD digicam to her outta town event, but this is cheaper than the roll o' film route.
Saw this one in last weekend's "Rhody" Parade, trying to find out if there really are local Pharoahs (drivers had club jackets, gave me goosebumps ), or if it's just an AG thing, or both. How often you see a Buick squirrel, though?
[ QUOTE ] the CHEAPER cam sorta adds a vintage feel to it [/ QUOTE ] I like yer frame of mind. I kinda cringe when I post with this camera, but 'til I get a better one, it's a quick 'n cheap alternative. Vintage digital:
The paint job on this Crescent City rod actually did look naturally worn in, it's been thoroughly enjoyed. Plus, the Pelican Bay weather really got to it. Nice ride, though- the interior is two-tone black and bumble bee yellow.
Well, seeing as how the digicam ate all the others, that's it. Nice break, anyway, just wanted to share with ya. Any of you going to any weekend hangouts, or cruise-in's, this weekend? Hope the May Day weather's as heavenly, today, for you, too.
