Hi, I have now on my 1930s Sprint Car 1939-47 Ford front hydraulik brakes mountet.
Now I need 21 inch long brake hose with 7/16 24 tread (one end male the other female).
Does somebody know where I can order such brake hose? The seller should send them also to Switzerland. Thank for any help.

Go to the Wagner Lockheed website and look for the charts of brake hoses by style and fitting. If you can't find it there, it'll have to be a custom.
If that is a standard old Ford brake hose but longer look for the 60s-70s Dodge pickup rear hose. This has the same fittings as an early( 39-48) Ford hose but is quite a bit longer. We use them on all our early-Ford drum-braked cars front and rear.

  3. If you have a hydraulic hose maker local he can make some. We have a local guy who makes any brake hose the length you want. His price is usually less than the auto supply.

  4. Tractor supply house specialising in John Deere or other American tractor should be able to make it up for you.

If it doesn't need to look traditional you can buy the fittings and make a stainless braided hose yourself.

Thanks, the one with the Dodge is exactly what I need. That saves me a lot of money.

Here in Switzerland we have also companys which will make me such brakehoses. But the price will be more than 100$ each. It's much ceaper for me to buy it in the US, even if the shipping cost are high.

Not all hydraulic hose shops will assemble a hose for hydraulic brakes either. Good to see you found what you needed and that it is a common item.
