Does it matter which way the brake calipers are mounted on the car? Depending if I put them on the front or back they brake hose attach point is on the top or bottom. Does it matter which way it is pointed?

The bleeder needs to point up. So the bubbles come out.

thanks Alchemy. I asked because I have seen it both ways and if they were the other way it would be easier to run my lines so I wanted to make sure. I appreciate the help.

How can they be the other way? Will not bleed if bleeders are down.

the way mine are mounted you can swap front to back and side to side and they will still mount. I figured bleeding would be an issue but wanted to make sure.

  6. Bleeders should up , but it doesn't matter if the caliper is in font of or behind center of spindle. During a mock up, if you were to try front vs back you'd have to switch calipers side to side so the bleeders stay up.

You can also remove the caliper and point the breather up when bleeding. Gary

Maybe with a vacuum pump or gravity but not if you're pressing the pedal.

Seems like a lot of unnecessary extra work.

  11. Sometimes it is, sometimes you do what you gotta do and once they are bled they usually and generally stay that way. Sometimes 1 bleed lasts 250,000 miles
