Hey everyone, I have a set of braided front brake lines for my 37. The problem is the fitting going to the caliper the hole and bolt are to small . Can I drill out the hole and use the larger stock bolt? Just want to make sure it's safe. Thanks everyone.

  2. What size is the line? Is it bigger than standard braided brake line? Otherwise get the correct adapter. IMHO

Not a place to skimp. Get the right line and adapter. $20 in parts isn't worth destroying a car because of a brake failure.

Early gm's have 7/16 banjo bolt...and metric style calipers have 10mm bolt. Just get the right ones for your calipers (lines and banjo's)

and do not just change out the bolts they are banjo specific .

  7. Sounds like you have the metric lines/bolt and have the 7/16ths calipers.
