inspiration for my '28 roadster!!
Very flattering RetroSteel. It's nice to know that all of my hard work is appreciated.
Beautiful! How wide are your back rims?
Thanks. Back rims are 6".
A sneak peak at the seat...almost done.
This car is essentially perfect. I wouldnt change a single thing about it.... wow
Wow... that color and upholstery style is going to be stunning all wrapped in black. I sure would like a nice pic of that seat installed for my office wall when your done! Keep going your almost there!
Metaltwister: Thanks. I will get you a finished picture for sure. Thanks again for the nice quality seat.
Thanks, it is appreciated! I seldom see them completed, Throw the frame in a box and that is usually the last I see of it! Ive really enjoyed watching your quick and quality progress here. Makes me want to get back on my 30 coupe and finish it up! Thanks again for a great build thread! Nicely Done...
Upholstery will be done tomorrow....can't wait to see it!
Some pictures of the upholstery...I think it came out great!!!!
Very tastefully done and did I mention your car is just Flat Ass Bitchen!
The seat you made worked out great. Thanks Again for the nice compliment on the car. I will send you some better pictures of the seat in the car.
Wow, your interior turned out very nice... and the rest of the car, too!
Thanks Malcom, your car is awesome as well.
Pictures of the finished '29 at a local car show..."Rods on the Bluff"
Wow, spot-on. Simply beautiful.
Who did your upholstery? Very nice roadster. Will look for at the next rods on the bluff.
A guy in Easton...Andres Rico. Shop is called Mike and Pop's Upholstery.
Very nice, and well done.
Thanks Guys. I appreciate the nice comments.
Small Update: I bought some old '28/'29 top irons for the roadster here on the HAMB, chopped 4" out of them, reshaped and painted 'em, and then what turned out to b a bigger job than I anticipated...the end result!!!! The car went to the upholstery shop today.
Preliminary Pictures of the top...Needs to have the back window installed and adjusted some. Overall, I think it came out really well.
How tall is your windshield in the middle? Car looks absolutely perfect.
