God must be setting up one heck of a rod shop up in Heaven because he's been calling up some of the best lately. RIP Boyd.

Sad news. Growing up in Norway you didn't see alot of rod and customs, so I was very fascinated by his work when I was younger. I guess superstar builders like him helped me find my true passion about traditional rod and kustoms...

    RIP Boyd

even though it was fun to make fun of his flower shirts and his cars It really sucks he is gone. The Aluma Coupe snap together was the first model I ever "built" and the first thing I ever spray painted.

What a shock. We may not all like his style, but we have to respect his imagination and creativity. What a huge loss for our hobby.:(

We all have different tastes and some of his were not mine, but there is no question on the amount of imagination and talent that he had. He forever made a mark on hotrodding. My prayers to the Coddington family. Godspeed. :(

    R.I.P. Boyd.

There will be a big hole leftl, both in the smaller world of the family and those close to him and in the larger world of hot rodding.

    Big big hole. :(
