So my F1 has a flipped/dropped axle in front and flipped axle (helper bags) in the rear. Ive been running a 15x5 rim on the front with G78 cokers and 15x7 with L78 covers in rear. Because I was dumb/broke when I built the truck I just used what I has for tires. The fronts rub at full turn and the rears are near impossible to take off. Now Im ready to move on and do a size shorter in both front and rear and Ive even thought of doing 16" or a reversed set just wanna really change it up. I don't have any pics yet put I swapped a G78 to the rear and I have 6.70 on one side of the truck and it looks terrible and the G78 is still a pain to get on the rear... Inspiration anyone?
How about a G78 on back and an F78 on front? Pretty much anything is going to be hard to change with it sitting low. Love the truck, what color is that? Almost looks black in low light but a nice blue the rest of the time. Looks great! SPark
Throw in some full moon discs for a few weeks just to break the boredom. Sent from my Pixel using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Raise it back up a little. Trucks should sit a little higher if you're gonna use them as a truck. Not 4x4 high, or even stock height, but maybe 2" above where it's at now. Then you shouldn't have tire fitment problems anymore.
F-78s are 14” Not sure on the color, it was on it when I picked it up. The truck has bags in the back, fully aired they still don’t help.
Personal opinion here, how about raising the rear an inch or so and running 4 bar Lancers. Maybe even 56 Car full covers?
My go to combo when I was a broke kid was 8.00 or 9.00x15 and 5.00 or 6.00 x 15. Granted I was always more of a go fast guy but it is a good combo and the skinnier fronts have less tendency to rub.
Man Don't change a thing.. I know it can be a pain with rubbing front tires, but your truck is perfect in the eyes of of the beholder.. Maybe some tire guy might help you.. I hope my F1 turns out half as Great as yours did.. And on top of the hood what is that hood ormament? Not stock ?? Olds or Pontiac ?
Man i love the look. Could you go with a different backspace wheel up front? Maybe that would help the rubbing.
