i'm going to speed week this summer for the first time. anybody have advice? i have looked at some web sites, most of the info caters to the racers. anything will help. thanks

 

Book rooms now! If you can camp there's the bend in the road (on the access rosd to the salt) with free camping.

Put Bonneville in the search at the top of the page and it should take you about a week to read all of the threads.
I'd suggest taking an inexpensive beach umbrella for shade. You can fold it up and tuck it away when you aren't sitting under it.

Along with what Mike said I'd also add a big straw hat more to keep your head cool and shaded than style.
