    Looks great! Hard to get much lower. I hate seeing cages stickin up in the breeze! And do I see some skinny 17s for the front?

    Tons of progress being made on the car. Just havent posted much on here. Steering, fuel system, engine, trans, scattershields, driveshaft cover, shifter, clutch, water tank, hand brake, seat, and more all mocked up.     Even on frame table will u weld continuous or tack & jump around many to avoid putting any twists in frame. I have light weight body frame tacked & to finish without a frame table

    Big progress. Gauge pod made, water lines going in, reverse lock out made, switch panel made, chute mount and push bar made.     Your driver restraining panels are mounted to the roll cage very clean and sanitary. Did you make the flat scalloped pieces or are they commercially available? Very nice build, and if the car goes as fast as you’re building it, some people might want to reconsider your class!

    I can"t find my pics right now, but I did this on the 1429 RMR in 2013 when I revised the original cage and steering and added fairings to the front axle. I saw this method used on my favorite 5 window (Jim Busby's). His was like a tuning fork; I just made it a closed "racetrack" for a sealed bearing. Works great, with numerous records to show for it. The only thing was some wear over the seasons, which was corrected by making the racetrack a removeable hardened insert that could be replaced when necessary. Those folks who told you it won't work don't understand how the front suspension works.

    thanks everyone. the people who keep telling me it wont work are the same ones who forget to breath between bites of their of hot pockets in their moms basement lol
