Event Coverage Bonneville Update...Who's Going?

Yeah, borders are closed, hopefully next year.....sigh.....

 

I tried to hang in there but it got to crazy the airline changed my flite to a different city as soon as I got it fixed they did it again . Then I talked to a friend who is having a nigthmare time trying to get back to Hawaii . I called a shipper, had them pick up the car I bought [64 fury] to drive to Bonneville and send it to Hawaii . I will try again next year . When Trollst and Bones 51 started talking about going I had just had serious health issue , did not think I was going to make it . Had a lot time to think about things I decided if I it make I am going to Bonneville .I was really excited about it. I purchased the car went cali. to pick it up drove it 1200 put it in storage in San Jose as soon as I got back to Hawaii the virus started .I was hoping to meet a lot of HAMB folks . Hope I can try next year.

But you have to admit it’s kool, that a guy from Canada influenced a guy fromOklahoma to go to Bonneville and together we had an influence on a guy from Hawaii! That’s the power of the HAMB! Sure would have kool to have a beer, together! See you next year!

Fuck, I'd be going, BUT, two things, my woman has severe COPD, and the border is closed. Piss me off, the salt is rumored to be the best this year.....I'm going next year, cause I'm all set up to go this year.

 

Indy roadster is 'ultimate utilitarian', I'd drive that for the rest of my time here...
Streamliner suspension/construction ideal, the tech committee is due for an appreciation class! I could look at this for hours...like a rolling collection of mechanical solutions.

My plans have changed, but still planning to go. Will drive my OT car instead of my hot rod, and can only stay for a day or so...
