Thanks Mick...So all of those sets of numbers was any actually measuring speed or is that only judged by an outside source. Man that's fast...

Having killed the E and A motors Speed Demon got it right with the B engine. 464 I think exit speed. New top speed of the week I know. Qualified at 452 I think

  4. The initial combined worth of the blown motors has got to be a crazy number.

Flashpoint went 340 or so. Broke the blower belt on the shift. Car was running good. Bob was pedaling it all the way. Jack Costella is one happy guy. Said Rick was at low boost on gas. May up the boost or go to nitro for his next run. Jack didn't want to interfere with Rick's thoughts. Rick is doing OK as it is

Carboliner ran 413 in the mile 420 out the end. Really picking it up on the big end. Flashpoint needs a 400 at least. Oops. Looks like the MSD is giving them trouble.

At long last we have qualified to make a record attempt in the morning. Current record is 218 and change and we just went to 227 going to make sure everything looks good tonight and go out there with the barrels blazing in the morning.

getPart.jpg I know how unfriendly this is but it does go pretty fast. I think I have a tuneup in it for a 230 MPH record tomorrow.

  21. And, Mr. Sparks, what is the riding position in your streamliner? It's sit in, not on, right?

I'm really glad I got down there- even for 1-1/2 days. Saw both Danny's run and speed demon's. Lordy what a sound!
