Bonneville 2011 Roll Call

I'll be driving from Pocatello to watch. One of these days i'll be running a Triumph down there.

 

My first trip, I'm 58 and don't know what took me so long. My little 16 yr. old girl (H.A.M.B.'er 31Coupe.com) said she wanted to go real bad. I hope this becomes a ritual.

 

Most of the Flatcad team will be camping at the bend- we'll have a 5th wheel and an outfitter tent.

I'm driving in from San Jose Wed & meeting my brother who's riding out from S Carolina. First time @ Speedweek. We did World of Speed last year. I may go this year too. Way too much fun. See 'ya all there.

 

Will be camping at the bend in my teardrop trailer. Going to try to get a pic of every teardrop at Bonneville this year.

Everything is looking good! Leave Tuesday arrive Wed. afternoon. Gotta stay with family outside Tahoe on the way. Look fo me on I-80 and wave as you go by.

 

When the rods start ventilating the block there'll be lots of teardrops to photograph!!

 

If Bonneville doesn't happen, they'll be plenty of tear drops, that's for sure.

Keep the Salt Gods happy and eat lots of pork rines! How will that help??? I have no idea but what else can we do?

I have faith that the Sun will shine and the Wind will blow.

Keep the photos of the water comming.

 

Good luck. I know it's a pain in the ass, but try to take lots of pictures and take us along. I too want to drive my 40 out there some day so for the time being, I can live precariously through you!

Still have the mural under the hood I hope?!

 

Yeah, I picked up a hood from a farmer in Idaho last weekend. But, probably wont get it on before speedweek. Do I need to post "no hunting" signs at the bend, just in case?

For those that don't know. There's a nice mural of an elk painted on the underside of my hood by the previous owner. The previous owner is deceased and I'd like to give the mural back to his mother. I know she would appreciate it.

The So-Ida guys will be there at the bend. if you see my yellow F-100 stop and visit fellow HAMB'ers. Were planning on being there thursday the 11th.

 

We might have to drive down to see TOMKAT 46 's mural .

Plane tix bought. Rental car rented... and a new super limited Old Crow tank print on canvas half designed. Can't wait!!!

 

Long time between visits, but I too shall be there one way or another.

Waiting for room confirmation, itf it doesn't happen I guess I'll be seein a few of you at the bend in the road.
