.........slightly O/T but skulls and bones have some relationship to hot rodding. This summer my wife and I took a two week trip to Europe; one week in the Algarve in Portugal and one week in Spain. While in Faro Portugal, we came across a chapel that was entirely made up of skulls and bones from 1,225 monks. The bones and skulls were removed from the graves as the church expanded. The entire chapel, and I mean entire, was made up of bones and skulls. The walls and ceiling were lined with bones. It was a little eary but kind of cool at the same time. Here are some pics........
Isn't that the place where everyone is buried under ground in those catacomb's and tunnels? I saw a show on that place on the History channel . Just plain spooky ! Retro Jim
Even more freaky was what was written above the entrance door; "Stop here and think of the fate that befalls you". Thanks for reminding me of that!
Here's a car I saw at Ocean City Cruisin' Made out of bones! Well not really lol but maybe just a little over the top?
Yeah, I bet when it comes time to paint the exterior, the application of paint turns it into a skyscraper!
that's so RR. I bet the pews were upholstered in mexican blankets..... so I wonder... A guy who welds is a welder. a guy who plumbs is a plumber would the guy who built that place be a boner???
