BOMBSHELL BETTY is ready WORLD FINALS !

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BROCK ART STUDIO, Sep 23, 2012.

  1. ROCKET HEADS RACING and BOMBSHELL BETTY are almost ready !!!

Bonneville World Finals , Oct. 3-6th.

We have a freshened up engine and a fresh close ratio Muncie.
I built a new design intake that I have been considering / developing for a couple years.
The new intake proved itself on the dino on Tuesday.
Horsepower increased from 278 (last year) to 340 !

    VERY stoked!

    Hope to see you there.

    Jeff Brock

Best wishes for a safe and fast event! Would the rules allow you to run with side and rear windows, and would they allow a better aero package? Bob

Dont you have even fuel distribution problems with the end cylinders with that single 4 barrel ? Youve got the old Bu running pretty good. I tend to agree about the side windows making things a little more aero. Im a friend of the Salt Cat guys so I wish you the best

Betting Betty blasts Bonneville! Wishing you success

  12. Thanks everybody!
    She's coming together nicely today.
We are trying to finish some side windows to try out, although with in car cameras, there is little in car air entry.

We'll have to go 175 at the 2 1/4 before the long course.
    I'm ON IT !

    Stay Tuned.

I ran three 500 Holley two barrels on my 12 port GMC. Then I sold it to George Cambell and he ran it in his Salt Circus roadster and did quite well.

  22. It is a new one. The McM. Nissan/Buick intake mixture had to turn a sharp 90*

This is my design, built from 2.25" electrical conduit sweeps, (because they have a big radius) cut to 2/3rds length and tapered and a 3.25 Electrical conduit for the log. Fuel falls / sucks pretty much straight down the hatch.

I'm very happy with the dino results... lets go see what the Great White Dino has to say about it!
