Trying to locate all the bolt locations to bolt my body to the frame on a 1939 Ford coupe. I have new rails as well as a new floor. I bought a bolt kit and it has over 100 pieces. When I removed the body 7 years ago I don't remember where all the locations are today. What I do see is 10 locations plus the transmission cover that has 4. I do know that there are mounts that did not have bolts go through them, like the ones that go around the outer sub rail. I do remember there no holes in the old sub rails. I'm wondering if some of the bolts secure other front end pieces I haven't gotten to yet. Lemme know, if there is a diagram available, or your experience......Marshall

All the body bolts on a 40 go in from the top unlike a 33/34 which have some going in from the side. The two mounts behind the rear crossmember have the long bolts.

We're some of the bolts in the kit for the running boards? And, about
how many bolts do you have that actually secure the body to the frame small pick up?

Yes, there are 2 in the tool tray area; they are where the corner braces from the trunk seal lip fasten to the forward wall of the tool tray. The other 2 in the trunk area are where the channel under the trunk floor is located. There is a "wedge shaped piece" on the underside of the upper lip of the frame where the body bolt goes.
