Body modification

    I am looking for how to books on sectioning car bodies and making them wider. I need to gain roughly 6 inches of fender width per side and want to keep the greenhouse as is. Any suggestions?

    I am turning a 67 Jag E-type hardtop into a road racer/ street car, as opposed to the Pro-Street drag things. The stock body is quite narrow and current road racers are wider by about a foot. This will also give me an opportunity to get the greenhouse more proportionate to the rest of the car.

    Where is Rockwell city? I was born in Waterloo and lived there many decades ago

    My youtube videos (link below) show several methods on how to make wider fenders in sheet metal if that helps. See the Custom Metal Bodywork series. These techniques would work great on the Jaguar.

    That black and white photo of #57 ,what a great looking car. SHould have made them like that from day one.
