Prayers to Family

 

sincere sympathy goes out to his Family, extended Family, fans and fellow racers - left his mark on the world of racing in more ways than one

 

He was a legend among legends.

 

Sad news to see, I followed his exploits quite a bit back when he was racing.

 

Yep....that Pikes Peak stuff really grabbed my attention....glad he's in no more pain and has joined the others to bench race some more !

Oddly I had no knowledge of this and watched an interview with him and Al jr. over the weekend on you tube. I followed the exploits of Bobby and Al sr. in their hay days. Bobby had to be helped to the stage for the interview, and that was sad.

 

He spent some time up here in the 80s getting Robbie some time in a Sprint car. Loved his Pikes Peak endeavors

He competed as close to the heavens as one could when on Pikes Peak.
