Folks Of Interest Bob Regehr Car collection auction

  1. Yep...some choice stuff fer sure - not surprised at the pre war stuff going at market or above. Funny the 56/57 Vette and the 1956 Nomad - I thought - were the best bids/buys.

Curious about the RPU and what it went for. It looks to be in better shape than one I know of, so trying to gauge a price

  5. I was on line bidding on a 32 original grill. I stopped at $750.00. It sold for $2,100.00 ouch.

They were finished with the grille shells when I got there. Good thing as I probably would have owned another one. From what I see on line they brought about the going rate according to quality.

The proud owner of the first of the two B 400's sold should have a warm fuzzy feeling knowing he made a deal at nearly half the bid on the second one sold, while it needed front fender work, I might mention it sported a rare bustle trunk specific to the B400 rear body contour, like it or not certainly a neat option. The side mount hardware looked to be from a Buick of 32 or so vintage but then both cars were from Norway & Sweden so who knows.

Prices seamed to go mainly at current market prices. Some fairly strong. Cool to see collections like this come available.

Correct. The RHD phaeton also sold for $21,000. Those and the 33 phaeton at $28,000 looked like some of the better deals there

Any prices on the 32 sedans?

  18. The 1956 Nomad and the 56/57 Vette both went for around $35,000 each. The rest of the Vettes were at the market. The 55 Nomad went up there- I think around $60,000 with non-matching drivetrain - think it was just a 350/350 combo. Correct me if I'm wrong.....

  19. Was just able to log on to their site and review sales - the 55 Nomad went for - 48,000 and the 56 Nomad went for - 26,500 to both on-site bidders - the 55 Cameo was - 30,000 and it was a 1956 Vette with 283 - 2 fours and three speed - not started - went for 39,500..........

It was in the swapmeet or parked close by on a trailer with a forsale sign by another individual.

I am at a total loss for words. I called earlier this year to find out if the swap meet was still going to happen or not because of the covid crap. The guy told me it was cancelled and now I see here that all of this went on. This year has been insane.

  28. 2.5 million in sales for this auction is what all the talk is about.....

2.5 million in sales, 1 million in estate taxes for the family.
