Stevie Ray Vaughan's favorite guitar player! I'm sure Jimmy is damn proud of that titrle cuz his brother was (still is IMO) an amazing musician.

Yes, Stevie looked up to his big brother. I was a huge SRV fan, going way back to his first LP. But as I grew older and my focus in music shifted from rock to blues I learned to appreciate Jimmy more. I understand Stevie's admiration. Jimmy is the best.

    Great pics Richard!!!
Would loved to have made it there this year but 28 years married to my high school sweetheart kinda got in the way. She has been great in the past going there with me on our anniversary many times.

Great pictures Blues, thanks. That room was full of cool stuff, got to talk to Hamber R.D. Martin and check out his Bantam Comp. coupe too. Great guy, great car.

Yeah, I spent quite a bit of time talking to Rich too, great car, with a great story. I've got pics of it I'll post up later. He let me go anywhere I wanted around the car, so I hope I got some quality shots. I haven't got to them yet (I took almost 800 photos!). I'll get there eventually, bear with me.

  21. I miss going to Oakland. I moved out of CA. about the time the show moved to Pomona. Thanks for the coverage. What's the story on the car I circled in this picture?

Sidewinder V8 flatty powered, no trans, chain driven with a sprocket on the crank back to the read axle. Alumnium sheet body, must weigh all of about 250 lbs without engine.
