I recently got a 31 Ford Tudor project. The car came with all the window glass. The glass has a very light blueish tinted to it. It's not a film, but made into the glass. I need to replace the rear window as it is cracked. Does anyone know of a source for blue glass.
Don't know about blue glass but there is green glass. I used it in my 32 sedan. I think any good glass shop will have it in stock.
Glass shops have a whole variety of laminated colors available to them. If they don't have it in stock they could order it for you.
Old glass was made with a type of sand that turned colored from the sun over time. Ever seen Model T headlight lenses that were light purple, or old bottles that have laid in the desert many decades? Plate glass windows did the same thing. I would change all the glass in your A to modern safety glass. Plate glass in a car can be lethal in a crash.
E-Z-Eye tinted glass from LOF is blueish-green. Doubt it's still available from glass shops, but a rear door glass from a '54-'56 GM ''C'' body could be cut to fit.
I think its referred to as factory green glass sold by modern day glass suppliers. See link below. https://www.vintageglass.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=29
If all else fails windowtint.com has colored tints, and 2 shades of blue. It took me ages to find blue tint
