I was thinking Hillborn too, but then I chance my mind and run with carbs...

Maybe this guy can help http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=531757 He have fuel pump in timing cover, but I have seen belt drive pumps too, which is mounted beside oilpan. Check www.hilborninjection.com or ask them.

Very nice work. It needs a front crank support located outboard of the bottom pulley. Just saying...

Wait a minute while I pick up my jaw off the floor. WOW. I mean, WOW! May I ask what type of abrasive did you use to get those ports mirror like?

I don't quite get it what you mean? Well, that is not a surprise...
I did it same way like I polished all aluminium parts, just a waste of time...

You could probably "google" it but here goes:
Typically they (front crank supports) have a lower crank hub with an extended nose. The nose extends far enough to allow a plate mounted bearing to engauge the extended hub outside the lower pulley. The plate (the one with the bearing) is fixtured to the block outside the bottom pulley. I have seen a Chrysler Hemi (blown) deflect the lower pulley more than .300 on one 1/4 mile run. Note: A hemi has twice as many mains as a flattie...just sayin.
