That's incredible. Do they mention who is behind this attempt? I see everything was being made in LA, but they dont't get any more specific than that.

Those engines look like he ones Miller built. They had real issues with ign timing. Although these engines were planned at one point to be put in a land speed car the money never materialized & some parts were used in water taxis & the rest scrapped. See "Miller Dynisty" pg298-pg303.
