My truck looks like crap with the black steelies,,I lost 3 smoothie hubcaps driving down to Minneapolis to BTT50's, found a warehouse full of hubcaps in Buffalo Mn, to supply me a new set...the steelies would look good if I at least had chrome lug nuts or wide whites. I put the new ones on the next day,,that big red maple behind my truck fell over the night before in the big winds
It is blatantly obvious that black steel wheels are extremely popular with a majority of the guys that build traditional cars and trucks,,I guess I'm in the minority because I prefer a color on my wheels. HRP
Black steelies rule. They are light, and they look tough. My 56 had some CenterLines on it from it's racing past. Once I put the black steelies on, the entire look of the car changed.
