Black or gray? Which sealer under silver base?

    I'm going to shoot some panels this weekend. How much difference do you think a metallic silver basecoat will look if I shoot over black vs. gray? How about over white sealer?

    Use black that way you can assure yourself of full coverage sometimes with white or gray and silver its hard too see you got it all!-Good luck,Paul

    I'd go for the grey, it will take less coats. black will show more streaks and take way more material.

    Gray, I just painted silver over black, would not do it again.

    im new to painting last 3 years why do people say its better to use differnt color primers i did a couple panels and you cant tell the difference in color
