Bump again. Shannon helped me out last year when we were evacuated. A truly stand up guy. I don't have any room here for much stuff but If anyone needs help getting out or an extra tow vehicle give me a call anytime day or night. 717-773-2300. For those that don't realize the scope of this 360 homes have been confirmed destroyed.
I am packing up all my irreplacables just in case it jumps over I-25, which with these crazy winds here is not out of the realm of possibility.

I just came across this post as I was looking for something to keep my mind off the current situation. I live on Black Forest and Woodmen right there where they all meet up with vollmer but thankfully my wife hasn't had to grab what she's packed and bail yet. I'm currently over in Afghanistan so worst case scenario, I may have to take you up on this offer if you are willing to accept non HAMB-friendly cars! Its a 68, close enough right? lol I'd rather omit just what '68 it is as i'd probably catch more heat for that than from the flames!

Dry thunderstorms over my place right now. it is not looking very good. They just extended the evac zone again. another 3000 homes under mandatory evac orders.

  12. In this case it's all about helping each other out. Not whether something's hamb friendly or not. Plenty here to help you if you need it. I'm a 12 year AF vet. Not in anymore but still stand up for all those who are still serving. Thanks for serving. Godspeed to you and get home safe.

Best of luck to anyone near there. Was just watching news reports, and it looks pretty scary. Windblown wildfires are certainly no laughing matter.

The footage on the tv is just so sad. Hope everyone is safe and while I'm about a 125 miles away, I have tow trucks and can help if needed.

:(Saw a pic it the Denver Post of a burned out house. About 14 burned cars parked neatly next to it. Hard to tell but one is a 50's long roof. Hope there was insurance but we all know in work projects are usually unprotected until done. Sorry for ya guy, got a heavy heart when these pics come out. Hope your family and loved ones are safe!!!!!!!!

to the top. I hope everything is ok & you dont have any takers

  24. My son lives there, in the USAF, but unfortunately is in DC, while his wife and girls are packed and ready to evac. Fire is one mile North, with a fire break between it and them.
All I can do is pray.

75% contained. And looking better everyday. Was not able to help people park cars or as a place to stay, but it was worth the try all the same. This fire happened so damn quickly, that it was hard to have time to plan. Thanks for the help with keeping it active. I appreciate it. Lets hope this thing dies soon rather than flaring back up.
