Well my good mate Gerald and I have been in the shed all weekend trying to finish painting this thing.

I thought I would put up a little teaser pic of what we got done.

Who new we had it in us,neither one of us had done anything like this before and I had never painted a car before let alone attempting something like this.

To say I'm happy would be a serious understatment.

I'm really stoked, it came out way better than I expected and I learned so much doing it.

It will still be a long time before it's ready for the road but I'll be plugging away at it till it's finished.

Binga, that paint is such an incredible crowning touch, to a great build. Wow!

 

I think I just wet myself a bit! This thing is cool as, how did you guys do the black flower pattern either side of the roof? Can't say I've ever seen a doily that detailed!

Took the wife with me, I had know real idea of what I wanted.

Was going to be my daily but now it's too pretty so I will get it fully engineered and regoed then it will be for sale.
