Projects Binga,s f100 pickup build thread

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 68wagon, May 17, 2011.

  1. Heard good things about Matt, atleast he has a spray booth to keep his paint warm. Us novices have only got an uninsulated shed to use...lol

  2. Well I'm still plugging away at getting this thing in paint.

I painted stone guard on the inner surfaces of the fenders and underside of the tub.

I also got the tub blocked out and sprayed more primer on.

Looks niiiiice.... Gonna look even better in the sun. What are you gonna do with the tray & side walls..... Black?

  14. Nice. :)

Perfect weather for painting as well, no doubt? LOL

  15. Tossing around a couple of options at the moment but Black is looking the best.

Ballarat got to a whopping 13 C that day thankfully the shed heater and another patio heater kept it above 22 C in the shed.

  16. Still working on getting this thing back together.

    Painted the extractors

    and fitted them

fitted the radiator support panel and inner fenders

  17. Then started putting the rest of the front panels on

Hood is just sitting on at the moment as I need to paint the hood hinges.

  18. Coming together nicely Binga. Sits just about right too.

  19. Thanks Brett, I would love to get it a little bit lower but I think once everything is back on it I will be having fun getting in and out of driveways at this height.

  20. too right, theres some pretty severe kerbs up ballarat way. looks good BTW

  21. Thanks fuzzy

common on Mark, wheres the outside shots?

looks really good. Any Tommy the Greek type striping to break the colour up?

was the motor a 'dulux' rebuild?

you have done a power of work in what is the most miserable weather known to man, big kudo's to you and Gerald thats for sure. Looks like your not far off now.

  26. I think I might be a closet street rodder, it's much too pretty for me.....

No outside shots for awhile yet and the motor got the full deluxe restorer build, paint it black and put it back....hahaaha

Not on the FTE site have a hard enough time keeping up with the HAMB
