anyone that wants to convince the wife - tell them it is only 1 hour to Disneyland and they can take the kids there while you go off to the car show for the day!

 

Ah geeeeezzz....that's easy ! Ya got 4 months to wear her down

 

Tell her you can save $46 if you don't go to Disney with them ($71 - $25 = $46)... That means an extra T-shirt for one the kids!

 

or you can do like I did, book a cruise the Monday after the show, for the Bahamas. That worked out real well.

 

I've been on that cruise, 4 days to the Bahamas... less than $300.

 

wow - a cruise is a really good idea - do they leave out of Tampa?

I talked to the guy that owns this yesterday about Billetproof - FL, keeps it tucked away in a garage 5 miles from my house, I've been here since 1977 and gone to every car show ever held here and I've never seen it before...

Gettin pumped, done with my latest degree now, so its time to work.
We got Dad's new motor in and running last weekend. He is ready to go. For my 50', we gotta swap in a new powerglide and rebuild the carb. Doesn't sound like much, but we aren't real sure about swappin in the powerglide, it will be a learning experience.

I need to look at the calendar and start a countdown!

 

We are excited too ..... are guys are busy thrashing away on there cars and trucks.

 

Yeah damn it, so busy I don't get to post here anymore....

Well i went and traded the merc, so looks like im gonna be carless for the first show, what a bummer, unless i can get it going by then.still gonna be fun either way

When the wife asks you what you want for Christmas, just tell her you want enough money for gas to FL and a hotel room, and a weekend in March.
