Wow...That's a killer.
@Ryan, is that a '49? The turn signals and surrounding "wrap-arounds" are 1950.
Looks remarkably similar to this one: https://kustomrama.com/wiki/A._J._Fisher's_1950_Ford
I'm just going by what it said in Hop Up... But yeah, those cars look really close... Maybe the same car and hop up got the details wrong?
The article is from 1951, so could it be that Bill just liked the looks of the 1950 turn signals/surround and put it on his '49?
I love the looks of this car, but if I ever went to buy one it'd have to be a 1949 business coupe.
The 1949 is perfection!
Clean looking ride.
certainly is a "less is more" car... looks wonderful but I have no info on him or the car....
A lesson to be learned there. Less is indeed more. Nice, clean and simple and nothing added for the sake of adding something.
Pic is not clean but sure looks like Hop Up pic car has '51 taillight spears but they did have after market add ons for the 49/50. Bumper I think is 51 along with the hood and grill surrounds. Headlight rims are 49/50. I think that grill "bar" is after market and maybe only fit '50 parking light end pieces.
