    Hello HAMBers,

I was browsing the local antique mall today when I stumbled across these photos beneath a pair of RayBan Aviators. I had to purchase everything to get the photos, but I couldn't pass it up. This is apparently from Bill Barker's estate, but I can't seem to find much on the guy, aside from him owning Bill's Welding in SFV and his involvement with the So-Cal racing team. I spot Lobello's Lady Bug, Hilborn's Streamliner, So-Cal Special II and the So-Cal Streamliner in front of Valley Custom and the So-Cal shop in varying colors. Any thoughts?

  2. Very cool find, Bill Barker ran the T roadster with Keith Baldwin there is a bit on him in the SO-CAL book. Also I will scan the best hot rods book article and anything else I can find I sent you a PM too.

  3. The portrait oriented photo of the bare Aluminium track nose roadster looks to be the Dan Busby T roadster. The '32 roadster is Dean Batchelor's.

  4. A great find.

  5. Wow. Closeups of all of the pictures please Indiana Jones. By all means wear the RayBans while uploading, and drink a beer for breakfast too. That guy was a driver and talent benefactor to everything Alex Xydias was doing. That's awesome. These are my favorite reads.

Always great when collections like this fall into the right hands, just think of all the stuff that has been lost over the years. Sunglasses look to be the same as the ones in one of the photos. Thanks for posting everything. Bob

Thanks for posting these, some terrific shots there. BTW what is on the card at the bottom of the photos in the first pic? I'm not computer smart enough to enlarge it.
