Big Truck Steering - racecar

Does anyone have any idea what this steering box may be out of?

And if so, know where to find a parts drawing of it, disassembled...

Thank you,.... from what I'm seeing online... the regular trucks look different... disassemble from the column side.. this is BIG....would it be a dump truck or something of that scale?

 

Get ahold of KCMongo. He's into big truck of that era.
It looks just like the one I took off my '54 Chevy 1/2 ton pu.

Looks like a 1 1/2 ton, They have around 6 turns lock to lock.
That pitman arm needs to be shortened to have the drag link parallel to the frame. (bump steer), replace it with a newer C-10

This was put in the car in 1959 pretty much just like this.... in 57 and 58 it had a smaller box, I'm guessing the 1/2 ton of the same type, judging by the photos I have.... just wanted to know for sure so i could be able to find parts if i get it apart and it needs anything... may just need adjusted though... has a good bit of play in it right now....
