I think you'd look sweet in a little pink 64 1/2 mustang convertible . Of course it would be a little 170 cid 6:p

  9. Yep! Camaro central/muscle car central is about 30 minutes from me. I guess I should probably change directions huh? Parts are a lot cheaper and available!

Not a Chevy but still GM. Pontiac GTO 1964 & 1965 stock used a Dearborn Ford Toploader RUG 3-speed manual in base 4-bbl cars.

  14. I just want you to know I neglected working on the Henry J to read this whole thread, I always thought it had something to do with egotistical Don Gartlets so I scrolled by it lol
You did a lot of work on that old rig, way to stick with it man.

  15. I appreciate that man, it's a work in progress, someday I'll get it to where I want it to be. Always something to do lol

  16. I’ve seen Lloyd, he won’t fit in a mustang:p

  21. I've seen a few guys in different forums when putting the mustang tank into 55-59 pickups and keeping the stock gauges use a more expensive model, but they are trying to keep the factory gauge.
Since you have aftermarket gauges the cost of the unit is more than a new gauge would be, that one is cheap and seems to have good reviews.

  22. Back in 1984 when I got on the bus to the St. Louis MEPS center I was wearing parachute pants, no mustang though lol
