So interesting. Would have never thought to call anything Roth made "Satanic". Wonder if the connotation of that word was different then?
The establishment never understood Ed. Kids did and Ed knew it. He fastidiously kept his 'act' squeeky kleen, but respectfully rebellious in honor of his youthful fan base.
Clearly the author and publisher didn't "get it" and I'd bet Big Daddy relished that. Those who did had the rebel snicker goin both inside and out. You know...
I have heard sometime, somewhere, that "Rat Fink" was Ed's answer to Mickey Mouse. Or sort of a Mickey opposite character. Anyone know if there's any truth in that?
This was my all time favorite "MICKY RAT" from the underground comic book days of my youth, and no doubt, approved by Roth as well! The rest is history! Thanks from Dennis.
