I probably won't be able to buy any of the cars offered in his estate auction, (out of my bracket) but there are some cars that will rock ya, if you are into Model A and '34 Hot rods, plus some '40s customs, originals and a whole building full of parts. Original cars, hot rods, jalopies, and projects.
Get your Credit Union advance letter and make a new home for some cool cars.
I sure hope some real hot rodders, and not just collectors, show up coz some of these really deserve to be back on the street.

Dang.. judging from the accessories shown on that link, he enjoyed the offbeat, whimsical stuff. Think he'd have been a good guy to hang out with. I see a lot of things I'd like to be in my ( pitiful ) estate sale.

Does anyone have a full catalogue of the inventory being sold? The online site says there is more?

  12. Check - Van Der Brink's auction site - the cars she usually sells on-line but the smalls are usually only sold to on-site bidders. Yevette and family she get the auction jobs ! Good luck to all !

Same weekend as KKOA`s 40 Annual show. Darn it. And the auction is only 3 hours(driving) away.

  17. Nice lifetime collection of cars and supporting goodies. Auctioneer doesn’t need to be knowledgeable, just need to be clear what the are selling, the bidders will sort it out.

Lucky for me, I saw your home video and you are out of room to buy anything!

Lots of neat stuff! The chop/filled roof on the 34 3/w looks just right. Disappointed they didn't finish the jamb welds before it was painted.

I bought some frame rails, some Lincoln brakes, a 40 Merc bumper, a bunch of wheels (Kelsey Hays and artillary) and some A crossmembers. Also some Lyon 16" hubcaps.

Lots (LOTS) of wheels to be had of all old types, and many hoods, fenders, and misc parts. Some cars went high, and others were reasonable. About 10 hours of auction in 95 degree heat. I'm beat.
